A HUGE crystal for this classic locale!!! Basically this is one giant flattish crystal, from the famous Marienfluss locality. These gemmy to translucent crystals have very good luster, and the faces range from mirror-smooth to finely striated. The largest measurement of the major base crystal (upon which others seem to grow out of) is about 2.5 cm on edge. Complete if irregular, even on the back. An interesting, and important, locality garnet. Valued $500
