Item Description
A super-nifty combination thumbnail from Shengus and the Art Soregaroli Collection. Two stacked spessartines are dramatically partially cloaked by a hexagonal fluorapatite crystal! The sharp, lustrous, translucent to gemmy spessartines are brownish-red in low light, but GLOW with rich orangish cherry-red color when backlit. The glassy, translucent apatite is a very light lavender, that fluoresces yellow under UV light. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. A contact on one spessartine, where another crystal once lay, has no damage, per se. An absolutely fascinating, perhaps unique 360-degree thumbnail. The former dealer label has a $1500 price.
