Spessartine (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

An attractive thumbnail specimen featuring a sharp, lustrous, deep orange-red color striated dodecahedral crystal Spessartine. The piece is a complete "floater", showing no point of attachment on any side. I have tried to backlight the piece in the photos to show the deep internal color, but it's best seen in person. Overall, it is a really cool garnet specimen, and based upon what I'm seeing at shows, there are not many of them available now.
