Spessartine (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A good sized and attractive thumbnail specimen featuring a sharp, lustrous, deep orange-red color highly striated and somewhat skeletal trapezohedron of Spessartine. I have tried to backlight the piece in the photos to show the deep internal color, but it's best seen in person. Overall, it is a really cool garnet specimen, and based upon what we're seeing at shows, there are not many of them available now.
