A classic combination piece from China, from major finds of about a decade ago here! This is a large, well-colored specimen in superb condition. This is a very showy and large combo specimen emplaced on a classic contrasting granite matrix. Lustrous and translucent, 1-3 millimeter size, bright orange spessartine garnets are perched on exceptionally lustrous and translucent smoky quartz crystals, to 7.5 cm in length. Specimens like this are often for sale in the $2500 and up range, but this came in a collection that we can afford to put to auction. NO DAMAGE. the entire display face is pristine! Can be mounted flat, or up vertically on a base.
