Item Description
Gemmy and lustrous, reddish-orange to cinnamon-orange, spessartine garnet trapezohedrons to 1.0 cm and water-clear quartz crystals with preferentially frosted termination faces are aesthetically clustered on the mounded albite crystal matrix on this striking and excellent combination specimen from Shengus. The dominating quartz point at the skyline is 2.5 cm and the quartz crystal above the two large spessartines is 2.8 cm and is doubly terminated. Black schorl fragments are a stark contrast. The backlit photos highlight the gemminess and rich color density of the garnets. In great shape, overall. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this fine combo piece at $400, five or more years ago. Valued at $500-700 today.
