Two, gemmy and lustrous, beautiful cherry-red, spessartine garnet trapezohedrons, to 2.0 cm, exquisitely flank the incredibly sculptural cluster of sharp, blocky, cream-colored albite crystals. Superb combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock, that looks great from either direction! The gemminess of the garnets is way above-average for the locale. The spessartines glow in bright light. Valued by Herb at $750, more than 5 years ago. It is worth more today.
