A very sweet, single, well-formed, dark tangerine-orange, gemmy to translucent crystal of Spessartine from Tanzania. Dominated by trapezohedral faces, this crystal is in excellent condition all around with only trivial edge-wear and one tiny nick on a single "corner" and minimal black inclusions. Incident light reveals mostly gem areas around the crystals periphery and it glows with orange internal reflections! The core is slightly turbid but still translucent. An outstanding thumbnail Spessartine crystal from this locality! Valued at $750.
