Item Description
This is an attractive specimen from Shengus featuring a 7 mm, sharp, lovely wine-red, gemmy, Spessartine crystal associated with sharp, gemmy, colorless, prismatic crystals of Quartz with sparkling white Albite on matrix. A few additional crystals of Spessartine can be seen on the side of the piece. For Garnet collectors, this is a great association specimen, and a fairly worthwhile piece of this well-known material. Despite the fact that these pieces are fairly well-known on the market, they are some of the very few red Spessartines available these days from any locality.
