Good thumbnail with a combination of Spessartine, Chalcopyrite, and Quartz from this little-known, but high-quality, location. Spessartines from Aggeneys have good color and luster. This 1.7 cm crystal, deep red with internal fire, has a very good luster and well-formed habit. There is a small amoung of edgewear, as well as significant contacting along the base, but that is to be expected from what must have been a difficult mining process. The Garnet presents itself very well on the matrix, and the overall aesthetics are good. A nice, representative thumbnail.
