A fine example of spessartine garnet from the recent find in Tanzania circa 2008-2009. NOW GONE - no more are being found! The razor sharp, gemmy and lustrous, transparent to translucent, floater crystal has pleasing mandarin-orange color and striking flashes of rich golden-yellow! 8 grams. A very pretty spessartine with some gem rough value, and a lot of geometry appeal too. valued $400
