Item Description
The highlight of this rare today, sperrylite on massive chalcopyrite is a pristine, modified cubic crystal, with mirror bright luster, and silvery color. This sharp, complete crystal measures 5 mm across. In addition, there are other sperrylite crystals present, although they are much smaller. Occasionally available in the 1990s, new sperrylite specimens are unheard of today in the Western market, as Russia has forbidden the export of strategic metals, including platinum. This fine example is valued at $1250-1500.
