Spangolite & Brochantite on Quartz

Item Description

Spangolite is a signature species from the famous deposits at Bingham and this is a very rich and showy specimen from the Tex-Mex Mine. Rich seams of sparkly, teal-blue microcrystals dramatically course across the vug lined with quartz points. All sides of the partially oxide-coated quartz matrix host more spangolite crystals (some gemmy emerald-green) and scattered brochantite lathes are also noted. Excellent, highly representative and rich combination material of the species and noted locale.
