Item Description
A showy specimen of a 2.7 cm, lustrous Sodalite crystal jauntily set atop the creamy calcite matrix. The partially translucent crystal has beautiful cornflower-blue color and the textbook hexagonal form. Because it is somewhat translucent and fluoresces as well, we are fairly sure this is sodalite and not the more common lazulite from the locale. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Faint fluoresence: ghostly-white: and orange calcite. The base has been sawed to enhance the fine display quality.
