These are some of the most well known older Sodalites around. They often exhibit rich colors and occur in good sized pieces of rough that yield beautiful gems. This particular stone has a lovely intense blue color and is translucent in areas. The stone has a "Round" cut. You really do not see these stones on the market these days, and this stone is a decent good sized gem for the material. Enjoy.
