Item Description
An exquisite cerussite from Iran. This lovely piece exhibits classic and most striking, reticulated, sixling-twinning in the 'snowflake' form from three intergrown crystal clusters. The glassy blades have adamantine luster with nice smoky color. This outstanding 360-degree specimen is very nearly pristine (with only trivial, hard to see, periphery wear in a few spots). A rare and excellent piece in this quality. It displays beautifully, as you can see. Every turn presents an entirely different perspective. From the small 2001 find - Vein 5, 200m Level of the mine. Valued at $1000-1250. It looks like old Tsumeb material, and is just as good, except the comparable Tsumeb piece would be valued about triple these days!
