Item Description

An exquisite cerussite from Iran. This lovely piece exhibits classic and most striking, reticulated, sixling-twinning in the 'snowflake' form. The fat glassy blades have adamantine luster with light smoky color. The piece is in outstanding condition, with just a scattered bit of bruising or broken crystals and a bit of periphery wear. Solid snowflake cerussite, as both sides look great, especially the side with the two projecting spearpoints! From the small 2001 find - Vein 5, 200m Level of the mine. The marvelous reticulations on this piece compare with the best from Tsumeb. High praise! Value??? We feel at least $1250 to 1750.
