Item Description
An exquisite cerussite from Iran. This lovely piece exhibits classic and most striking, reticulated, sixling-twinning in the 'snowflake' form. The fat glassy blades have adamantine luster with light smoky color. The piece is in outstanding condition, with just a scattered bit of bruising or broken crystals and the periphery wear along one edge. Solid snowflake cerussite, as the back is just as dense, but the blades are included. From the small 2001 find - Vein 5, 200m Level of the mine. Valued at $1000-1250. It looks like Tsumeb and is just as good.
