Item Description
This is a classic pegmatite combination specimen from Frongo that we seldom see. Two very gemmy, and very lustrous, pale greenish Topaz crystals are placed among Smoky Quartz crystals for optimum contrast. The Topaz crystals are 2.2 and 1.5 cm in maximum dimension, respectively. The Smoky Quartz crystals are very dark and saturated good terminations. They vary in size from 1 to 3.5 cm in length and display a satin luster. A few lustrous Schorl crystals grace the piece as well and are all less than a centimeter in size with most terminated and a couple of them not.
