A really attractive near "floater" specimen of good quality Smoky Quartz crystal from the famous Swiss Alps, featuring sharp, prismatic crystals partially coated by with green Clinochlore. The doubly-terminated Smoky has a wonderful "flattened" Quartz accenting the overall fine aesthetics of the specimen. Beautiful up close, and good quality overall. A few minor imperfections keep it from being a complete 100% "floater", but it's still crystallized all the way around, and display well from a few angles. Alpine Quartz specimens are among the finest quality Quartzes in the world, and many people would say that the best Quartz crystals from Switzerland are the best from the Alps.
