Smoky Quartz w/ Hematite (uncommon AZ locale)

Item Description

Smoky quartz specimens are uncommon from this Arizona locale, especially in quality that rivals renowned Swiss or French Alpine pieces. The striking, complex termination highlights this highly lustrous and glassy crystal, that has some preferentially frosted faces. The smoky color is rich, with the termination being water-clear and the lower section translucent from nifty swirled clouds. Rare inclusions are three hematite plates, that have partially bled blood-red. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only the most trivial of termination bruising. Rare in this quality. A must for the species or locality collector.
