Smoky Quartz w/ Dolomite (rare combo)

A striking and uncommon large combination from the well-known Cavnic mine. An impressive large 3-dimensional plate of rare very glassy, transparent to translucent smoky quartz crystals is dramatically and preferentially coated on one side with sharp, sparkly, translucent, tan dolomite rhombs. Such combinations are rare from here and this is an exceptional 360-degree large example of the species and locale. Complete all-around and in excellent condition. The tall smoky has a very gently bruised tip, broken smokies on one side of plate and periphery wear on the dolomite side of the piece are noted, but are certainly only modest detractions to this rare and aesthetic combination.
