Item Description

RARE and striking combination from well-known Zagi Mountain, source of the world's finest Bastnasite specimens. A sculptural cluster of water-clear smoky quartz crystals rests on the alkaline granite gneiss matrix. Backlighting reveals the glassy, lustrous smokies are included with tiny golden Astrophyllite needles and a few larger black Riebeckite blades. The impressive dominating 4.2 cm sharply terminated smoky hosts a commanding 3.2 cm Riebeckite blade and numerous Astrophyllite needles. The crystallized specimens come from Alpine-type veins.
