Item Description

An outstanding and aesthetic smoky quartz crystal from the well-known Smoky Bear Claims. This flattened piece rivals top Swiss crystals in every way - luster, clarity and sharpness. The color is a pretty, variable, smoky "blush" tone with nifty "clouds". The steep termination adds much character. Interestingly, one side appears to be cloudy, which is due to the way light refracts through the angled prism faces. Complete all-around and pristine. Self-collected by Harold Urish in October, 1991. Finding a Smoky Bear smoky of this quality is difficult.
