Item Description

Glassy, textbook beta-type smoky quartz crystals to 2.0 cm cover the front of this large, mounded, two-sided specimen from the famous Florence Mine. A fringe and a rich scattering of scintillating specularite hematite is a classic accent. The backside hosts an incredibly sparkly vug lined with specularite. Showy and excellent, two-sided combination material from this locale. Ex Buck"s Head Inn and Ralph Sutcliffe Collections. The miners swapped their specimens for pints of ale.
