Item Description
A STUNNING, incredibly aesthetic combination specimen from Pakistan. A glassy, transparent, 4.0 cm smoky quartz crystal is centrally placed and beautifully set in front of a blocky, lustrous, pearlescent, 3.7 cm microcline crystal. The snow-white albite crsytal matrix is fantastically studded with a plethora of lustrous, jet-black schorl crystals. This fabulous combo is in superb condition, with only periphery wear. Smoky quartz, in this combination, is UNCOMMON from the Shigar Valley. I obtained this excellent piece in a large lot deal with Wayne Thompson. His label price shows the so-called KEYSTONE price or half off at $1200 when he went to liquidate a chunk of his inventory under $10,000 at the show. It was originally priced at $2400. A fine spiker for this auction of common minerals in an uncommonly nice combo
