Item Description
Glassy, transparent to translucent, smoky quartz points with pretty variable color saturation comprise a showy and excellent plate from this well-known New England locality. Interestingly, a few crytals have striking, colorless tips. The crystals resemble classic Alpine smokies, but are from the US. The smoky on the right is 3.2 cm. Trivial bruising and periphery wear are noted. Highly representative material from this locale. Ex Schlichter Collection.
