Glassy, transparent to translucent, smoky quartz points with pretty variable color saturation comprise a showy and excellent plate from this well-known New England locality. The crystals resemble classic Alpine smokies, but are from the US. The central, upright beauty is 2.0 cm. Trivial bruising and periphery wear are noted.
