Item Description
Smoky quartz scepters are extremely rare from this well-known Alpine-style Russian locale and this exquisite piece rivals the best smokies from Swiss or French localities. The limpid, light smoky scepter is a water-clear gem. The internal veils add much character. Two contacts are noted on termination faces, but have no damage, per se. The termination is gently bruised, but both the bruise and contacts are out of sight in the preferred display face. An outstanding and rare example of a gem Russian smoky quartz scepter. Pieces of this superior quality came out in the 1990s to early 2000s, with none since. Choice material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock, with outstanding 360-degree visual appeal. It comes with an at least 10-year old label but these were found primarily in the 1980s. Valued at $750-900 today or more. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
