This a beautiful miniature sized Smoky Quartz specimen from this famous locality at Hallelujah Junction in Nevada. The piece features a stout single crystal in the back, which shows soft silvery smoky hues internally, but the main focal point of the specimen is the gorgeous scepter habit crystal lying across the front. The scepter is notably well formed, lustrous and razor-sharp, but it is highlighted by the fact that it beautifully bi-colored with a pale golden (almost a smoky Citrine hue) terminations that grades into an almost "Morion" black hue throughout the rest of the prism. While there is a ding on the bigger crystal in the back, the scepter is pristine, save the base where it was removed from the pocket. A very attractive, eye-catching display specimen of this beloved material. NO REPAIRS, which is important to note for this material as many of them are broken when found and have to be glued back together. This piece is from the famous Foster Hallman Claim, named after the legendary figure who collected some iconic and beautiful specimens for many years at Hallelujah Junction. Priced at $500.
