Item Description

Here we have a good representative scepter Smoky Quartz specimen from this famous locality at Hallelujah Junction in Nevada. I obtained this specimen directly from the people who collected it (Earth's Treasures / Rick Kennedy). The specimen was mined in May of 2016. It has good form, sharpness, luster and gemminess for any locality, especially one in the U.S. The piece features a well formed, defined smoky, and nearly colorless crystal with a beautiful appearance. It's incomplete on the back, but very attractive and eye-catching on the display side, and a pretty good display specimen for the material. The piece also shows a slight amount of green fluorescence under UV light, but we cannot say for sure what's causing it.
