Smoky Quartz (scepter)

Here we have a good representative scepter Smoky Quartz specimen from this famous locality at Hallelujah Junction in Nevada. I obtained this specimen directly from the man who collected it. It actually has good form and gemminess for any locality, especially one in the U.S. This specimen is a sharp, lustrous, well formed, defined pale smoky / golden color scepter crystal. The piece appears to be contacted on the back, but it's actually recrystallized, and only shows one small area of actual damage. A decent representation of these now world famous scepter Quartz specimens.
