Smoky Quartz (Scepter)

Item Description

A showy and excellent large smoky quartz crystal with a 3.2 cm milky scepter from the 2019 Glass Ceiling Pocket at famous Hallelujah Junction in Nevada. The slightly tapered hexagonal smoky stalk is quite gemmy with good color and has lustrous, frosted and etched faces. The scepter is glassy and lustrous, mostly translucent with some gemmy areas. Complete all-around. One out-of-sight face of the scepter is partially contacted, where another crystal once lay and only has trivial damage. The smoky stalk has contacting just below the scepter, with no damage per se and a larger out-of-sight contact on the back, where another crystal once lay, with very little bruising.
