A dramatic and beautiful, complete all-around, smoky quartz scepter from recent finds in Brazil. The sharply terminated, water-clear crystal is pseudohexagonal and rests on a base of crystallized milky quartz. The incredible, pronounced, skeletal features and internal crazing give every turn of this striking specimen a different amazing look! Nearly pristine, the super-trivial termination wear and two spots of conchoidal fracture are noted on the scepter, but you have to look hard to see them. A first class smoky scepter from Brazil, rivaling Alpine or Namibian pieces.
