Item Description

Intergrown, sharply terminated glassy smoky quartz crystals are aesthetically accented with blocky bone-white orthoclase crystals on this sculptural, excellent and uncommon large combination example from the pegmatites in this area. The highly lustrous smokies have transparent outer zones and inclusions in the interiors. The display views are great shape, with the contacting on the back being out-of-sight, but it does show the cascading orthoclase crystals. From the El Berrocal Mine, which is not listed on Mindat.
