Smoky Quartz (old - Paterson Museum)

Item Description

A RARE, large, impressive, old-time smoky quartz crystal from this famous district. The doubly terminated crystal, with rich smoky color, is highly lustrous and partially translucent. The scattered embedded cleavelandite blades add color and pizzazz. Complete all-around and actually in great shape. Contacting with minimal bruising, a partially bruised edge and a striking hole, where another crystal was once embedded, are noted. Rare and old-time material from the Paterson Museum in New Jersey.
