An uncommon and extremely cute smoky quartz and microcline small cabinet combination from this well-known Nevada pegmatite and the Art Soregaroli Collection. Fine smoky quartz specimens are rare from here and are seldom on the market. Two sharply terminated, highly lustrous, water-clear smokies with rich color are very aesthetically set on the matrix of sharp, blocky microcline crystals. The smoky prism faces have mesmerizing stepped-growth. The striking, dominating smoky is 5.1 cm. The trivial bit of bruising to both smoky tips and the broken secondary smoky are noted, but certainly have minimal impact to the high quality of this fine combination rarity.
