Item Description
An impressive, aesthetic and sculptural large combination from pegmatites in this well-known granite massif, which hosts many quarries. Well-placed pristine, sharp, lustrous, transparent to near opaque rich smoky quartz crystals, to 6.0 cm, with nifty phantoms, along with textbook sharp, porcelaneous light gray microcline crystals dominate the artistic mounded specimen. The rich peppering of tiny glassy, gemmy, olive-green epidote needles is a fine and typical accessory. The piece displays beautifully without aid. An outstanding large combination from this locale.
