Smoky Quartz, Microcline and Biotite

A 4.2 cm, sharp, glassy, color-zoned, smoky quartz crystal dominates this showy and excellent combination specimen from recent Argentina finds. The large smoky is water-clear to translucent and a couple of faces are preferentially frosted. Sharp, light salmon-pink microcline crystals, dark gray biotite books and smaller smokies round out this fine, complete all-around combo piece. Super-trivial, barely noticeable termination wear is noted on the large smoky, but is certainly not a detraction. One of the more aesthetic combination pieces from this lot.
