A superbly cut, large, display/impact piece of faceted smoky quartz! This stone has a fine cut, excellent clarity, and superb evenly-toned color. The coloration is most likely due to natural radiation sources in the ground, as you can see a gradient of smokiness in the crystal that indicates a natural origin with some varied distance from a radiation source as opposed to lab treatment. One cannot say for sure, but it seems unlikely a lab would try to induce such an effect in a cut stone sent for treatment, so we conclude this is indeed natural.
