A superbly cut, large, display/impact piece of faceted smoky quartz! This stone has a fine cut, excellent clarity, and superb evenly-toned color. The coloration is most likely due to (stable) irradiation treatment of clear quartz, mined from the same region, although it is impossible to tell for sure after the stones are cut.
