Smoky Quartz (Jaime Bird)

Item Description

A glassy, water-clear, smoky quartz crystal with fine smoky color from an unknown Swiss locality. Very interestingly, all of the termination and some of the prism faces are preferentially frosted/etched with embedded chlorite. This is an aesthetic specimen. The termination has infinitesimal bruising and the contacting on the back is out of sight on the display view. Ex Jaime Bird Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
