Item Description
A rarely seen specimen of Smoky Quartz from Steinkopf, South Africa. This piece is a fully crystallized "floater" specimen with a scepter habit growth, and stepped faces on all sides that resemble what some people call "elestial" or "alligator" Quartz. The piece has a beautiful color throughout, with a darker smoky tone on the outer edges. The faces are highly lustrous and sharp, and when the piece is backlit, it shows a wonderful internal gemminess. If you're a Quartz collector, don't miss out on this one.
