Smoky Quartz (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A wonderful, sharp, very well formed, euhedral, DARK Smoky Quartz crystal group with lustrous to semi-lustrous faces. There is a spot on the back of the crystal where it was attached to the pocket wall, and has left a small mark, but it cannot be seen from the display side. Were it not for that spot, the piece would essentially be a "floater" as it is multi-terminated and crystallized all the way around. A good representative specimen from this classic pegmatite district in Colorado.
