Item Description

An exotic, fantastic-looking, gem, 360-degree smoky quartz that was naturally etched in its pocket by solutions to produce this artistic-looking single crystal that is a complete floater all around. It has brilliant reflections off its many micro-faces. MUCH better in person, and quite rare in form for the location. Formerly in the Dick Hauck Collection. From the Bill Larson Quartz collection case, of approximately 250 specimens, which we bought in 2023. It was a long-term, very diverse mix on display for decades at the Pala International shop as an educational and fun exhibit. It was started back in the late 1970s. A bizarre smoky quartz from the famous locale.
