Item Description
Riebeckite is a moderately uncommon Amphibole Group species and this well-known REE locality has produced some excellent combinations. A large bladed rod and needles of black riebeckite are strikingly included in the shapely, partially eudhedral and partially water-clear smoky quartz crystal. Two faces of the smoky are stunningly water-clear, just like Swiss smokies! The rod (3.2 cm long) projects out of both ends of the quartz. Most of the faces on the smoky are contacted, with very little actual damage. This is excellent and uncommon combination material from Zagi Mountain. Ex. Herb Obodda dealer stock.
