Item Description

Very nice set of three Smoky Quartz crystals, coated almost 100% by microcrystalline Hematite. The largest of the Smokies is 9 cm long, doubly-terminated, and is at least partially gemmy. The Hematite sparkles, and the overall form of the cluster is quite attractive. Hematite from this famous area is usually not this attractive - most often when present it has been oxidized. This is a fine, quite unusual specimen, and it is even better in person. Originally priced at $550.
