Item Description
A classic and excellent, smoky quartz crystal cluster from Chamonix. The glassy crystals are limpid and have beautiful, rich smoky color. Several of the crystals look like cut gems and a couple of faces have nifty stepped-growth. A trivial bit of contacting and termination wear is noted. Smokies of this quality are not that common from the Talefre Glacier. Specimens like this set the worldwide standard for smoky quartz. Ex Bonisoli Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
