Item Description
A classic and excellent, smoky quartz crystal cluster from Chamonix. The glassy crystals are limpid and have beautiful, rich smoky color. A couple of faces on the back are preferentially etched/frosted. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of termination wear. Smokies of this quality are not that common from the Talefre Glacier. Specimens like this set the worldwide standard for smoky quartz. Ex Bonisoli Collection.
