Smoky Quartz (Belsky Coll.)

Rich smoky color enhances this beautiful, limpid, sharply terminated, smoky quartz crystal from Switzerland. Very interestingly, all six of the termination faces are a different length and the side cars at the base add character. Complete all-around and in excellent shape. The termination tip is pristine and the bit of embedded feldspar, with no damage, is noted. The contact lower on one side is noted, but there is no damage, as there are small second generation smokies there! Ex Howard Belsky Collection. A classic and excellent specimen of this varietal from the well known suite amassed by Belsky as a dealer and collector before his untimely passing in 1987.
